Hyland Ski and Snowboard Area - Popular Minnesota Ski Resort

Daniel Reardon earned his BA in economics at the University of Minnesota and operates as a co-CEO of the Otto Bremer Trust. As such, his duties include managing the Otto Bremer Trust’s investments. Daniel Reardon enjoys skiing in his free time.

Hyland Ski and Snowboard Area, a popular Minnesota destination for winter sports enthusiasts, consists of nine runs, including two difficult, three medium, and four easy ones. It typically opens in mid-November and doesn’t close until mid-March. Hyland Ski and Snowboard Area also has the snowmaking equipment that is essential to ensuring a good experience on the slopes and that permits it to remain open for a longer period of time.

For beginners, this location offers skiing and snowboarding lessons, but requires reservations in advance, unlike many other ski areas. While Hyland Ski and Snowboard Area is small, it is still a popular destination for skiers and snowboarders alike, ensured in part by its proximity to the Twin Cities.
